GREEN OPEN SPACES
The green open spaces around the estate, apart from the areas immediately in front of chalets, are open to the public throughout the year and we would appreciate them being treated sympathetically.
Owing to the potential risks of fire to the estate there is a strict ban on fires and the use of barbecues of any description in the public areas of the park, including beaches, at all times.
For reasons of hygiene and safety, dogs are not permitted on the areas signposted, which include the green in front of the shop/café and the beaches at any time of year. In all other areas they must be kept under control, on a lead, at all times and owners/minders of dogs are required to clean up after their dogs. “Doggy-bins” are sited around the estate for this purpose.
Litter is a constant menace to the estate and we would welcome people picking up litter and placing it in the bins provided or taking their litter home.
Ball games are very popular on the green in front of the shop, as are meetings of large groups, but we would ask people to take every precaution not to bother, annoy or risk injury to any other member of the public.
Music must not be played at a volume that disturbs others; any request to reduce the volume must be complied with.
Camping is not allowed on any of the greens or anywhere on the estate at any time.
The green at the south end of the estate is used for additional parking spaces and we would ask people to park sensibly to allow more people to enjoy their time on the estate.
The greens have spectacular views and are used by people of all age groups and frailties; we would therefore appreciate cooperation and understanding by all who visit the estate.
