Bovisand is one of the most attractive spots around Plymouth and has the nearest sandy beaches which are safe for children and swimmers. Its rugged coastline and views across Plymouth Sound are unsurpassed and thousands of visitors enjoy either swimming, canoeing, surfing or just sitting and enjoying the views. It is on the eastern side of Plymouth Sound and is within a few miles of Plymouth.
